Weeds in the Garden

I let this little morning glory go because it is such a pretty blue color

Bean beetle eats the pig weed and leaves the beans alone

I grow some of these lamb's quarters since they are edible

Gonna leave this row of stinging nettle for tea
My biggest nemesis johnson grass, but I made peace by consider it to be my hay just growing between the rows.

This row of Mullien planted itself

Pond

View from the pond of another world.
I did not plant a spring garden first time in 30 years.  Climate change makes it too hot in June now, I have to wait till fall.  I am clearing a pond instead.

Seed Order is In

I am not planting a spring garden this year, just summer and fall.  Peas hardly ever do well, and it gets to hot to soon for lettuce and spinach.  The fall garden is much more successful for greens.  Hopefully my CSA farmer will have good luck with peas.
