Garden update

Planted 6 rows of vegetables ahead of the Derby rain:  Lima beans, slenderette green beans, Oriental cucumber, Armenian cucumber, zucchini and yellow squash.  Started watermelon and cockscomb in seed packs, sowed cosmos and zinnia in the butterfly garden.  Spent the rest of the weekend weeding the onion rows.

Bunny Protection

The report from Eden McGregor Research Garden
 is that lamb manure helps peas and spinach grow in eden shale, 
and the mesh electric fence keeps bunny off!
