There is a forecast for much rain from Hurricane Helene stalling over Kentucky. So we mowed the weed ground cover, tilled, and are planting a fall crop, after all. The row plantings include: Turnip, Lettuce, Spinach, Chinese Cabbage and Radish. It is late, but we will extend the season with row covers, in hope of bok choy for Christmas.
Looks good. What's the white-handled machine in photo 2? I mailed you a letter yesterday.
ReplyDeleteThat is my electric mower, used to mow the paths. I missed getting a photo of David with the tiller. We got 5 inches so far. Hopefully seeds did not totally wash away.
