Spring Seedlings |
The cold, snowy winter of 26 is finally over, a long cold icy winter. (Although snow may fall tonight, the next day is forcasted to be warm and will melt any snow or ice quickly) We enjoyed 70F temperatures on the last day of February, and got into the greenhouse to plant seeds. These are lettuce, spinach and bok choy seeds. These seeds were for the Fall 25 Fall garden, but we had such a drought we did not plant a fall garden. We usually do sow them in the fall as they grow much better than spring.
The Red Wing Blackbirds have returned to the pond. We had a hillbilly fire in the evening to view the planet alignment. But all we saw, due to clouds, was Moon, Jupiter and Saturn. Moon put on quite a show with the largest halo I ever saw, but it doesn't really show in photo.
