Below is the garden harvest for Thanksgiving, before the freeze. The veggies are under a row cover, so we will check them again to see if any survived. For Thanksgiving I made a radish salad which was good if you add ranch dressing. We cooked the turnips in butter instead of bacon and that was ok. Finally, we steamed the bok choy and served with a teriyaki sauce.
Of course these were the sides for our turkey and my casseroles: bean tamale and sweet potato gratin. Jennifer brought her sourdough bread and Grandma's ginger cookies.
